Feed the poor, provide shelter, healthcare and scholarship at Odokekere in Ikorodu, Lagos
The Challenge

24th March 2025, Edward Achi one of our volunteer at LNFACF foundation was sent on a mission to Odokekere in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.

The feedback from his visit was not positive. LNFACF donated cash to all the people shown in the video below to help them with food and shelter.

Odokekere is a small community close to Ikorodu in Lagos. Our volunteer boarded a bus to the border town of Odogunyan and then took a motorbike to Odokekere.

From our research and investigation, many of the residents around Odokekere are not originally from there. Many of them live there because accommodation is cheap. The locals go to work in Lagos from this community every day which takes hours. With the poverty in the community, there’s no hope for the people living in the area and no jobs available for people.

There are children stranded on the streets of Odokekere with no homes to go to. Mothers feeding their babies looking so unkept and hungry. We need your help and support to assist the less privileged of this rural area.

The Solution

LNFACF foundation will appreciate your support to carry out a project in Odokekere, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria.

Our foundation needs support to help feed the poor, provide healthcare, shelter and assist the youths with scholarship programs to help students. These youths will also need school backpacks and supplies to help with their education.

Our objective for this project will be to help the less fortunate in this community find a better future path, escaping poverty and build a brighter future.

Help us provide life-saving meals for the people at Odokekere, Ikorodu.

Furniture for Aberdeen Municipal Junior School in Freetown, Sierra Leone
The Challenge

We have an ongoing project with Aberdeen Municipal Junior School in Freetown, Sierra Leone which includes an urgent need to donate 250 sets of benches, chairs and desks for this school. Learning in this school is hampered by the challenge of limited quality furniture.

The previous furniture provided to this schools by the city council were of low quality and is of substandard production which has been the cause for furniture dilapidation and dereliction in the school. Substandard and poor quality furniture that has been delivered to this school previously has invariably been causing extra budgetary spending by government year in and year out.

The Solution

LNFACF Foundation will appreciate your support to fulfil our goal to buy new furniture for Aberdeen Municipal Junior School in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The distribution of school furniture will help cushion the present appalling seating accommodation faced by pupils and it will improve the learning environment in the school.

Providing an enabling learning environment for children will enhance the quality of their output to learning. Our foundation will make sure these new furniture’s are maintained, of good quality and ensure the school make good use of the furniture.

The Results

The furniture’s bought for this school will be posted online on our website and all social media platforms to share our progress with the general public.

The team will visit Aberdeen Municipal Junior School in Freetown, Sierra Leone in 2025 to ensure the successful deliveries of these new furniture’s to the school. Our volunteers will be on ground to confirm the success of this project.

These sets of 250 furniture’s will be distributed in batches of 50 on 5 occasions to ensure proper record keeping of the furniture distributed.
